Saphire Blue is after Ruby Red the second part of the time travel trilogy and combines a thrilling fantasy story line with a turbulent love story. It takes the viewer on an adventure through time and deals with trust, love and treason.
A teenager can’t imagine a more exciting life: Gwendolyn Shepherd, the ‚Ruby‘, travels through time and rebels against the secret lodge. But she is also in head over heels in love with Gideon de Villiers and experiences her fist time with him. Gwen wants to be free and refuses to give in to the conventions of the lodge. But her desire for freedom gets her into danger. Obscure Earl of Saint Germain wants to use her for his own goals – to gain absolute power over time and he gambles with Gwen’s life.
Lucy Montrose and Paul de Villiers warn Gwen of that great danger. Lucy, the ‚Sapphire‘, has escaped together with Paul to the year 1912. They suspect that the Earl wants to use the power over time for his own goals. They try to warn the other members of the lodge, but their pleas fall on deaf ears. On the contrary, now they are seen as traitors.
With the help of Gideon, her best friends Leslie and Xemerious, a water-spewing demon, Gwen tries to uncover why she is so important for the lodge and what the Ruby’s destiny is.
When Gideon returns from a journey to see the Earl, he tells Gwen that the Earl want so meet her for a soirée in the year 1783. That is where she’ll find out more about her destiny. But there is something different about Gideon and she gets the impression that he is keeping something from her. Suspicions enter the once happy couple’s relationship. Is Gideon maybe even on the Earl’s side?
