Robert Marciniak studied Business Management at the FH Regensburg and worked as company secretary and head of the finance and accounting department at Constantin Film AG. In this position he was complicit for Constantin Film AG’s successful IPO as well as the financing of numerous films. On top of that, he was CEO of Constantin Film AG’s subsidiaries ENGRAM Pictures GmbH and Ratpack Filmproduktion GmbH.
In November 2002 Robert Marciniak became CEO at die film GmbH and was also active as producer.
He has been CEO and producer with Munich based Lieblingsfilm Gmbh since July 2010.
Robert Marciniak has been a member of the German and European Film Academies since 2007. He won the German Film Award for the children´s film „The Pasta Detectives“ in 2015 and was nominated for “Winterreise” ,“Dreiviertelmond“ and „Rico, Oskar and the Broken Hearted“.
