“Pferd am Stiel” wins the WEISSEN ELEFANTEN 2026

A cause for great celebration: “Pferd am Stiel” has been awarded the WEISSER ELEFANT 2026!

The Children’s Media Prize honours outstanding media productions for children and young people that inspire and move their audience, leaving a lasting impression. The award ceremony took place at the Theater am Hagen in Straubing as part of the 49th Bavarian Schools Film Festival.

“Pferd am Stiel” is all about hobby horsing and the big themes of growing up. With great heart, the film tells a story of friendship, self-confidence and the courage to go your own way. It’s a story that connects with young people in their everyday lives, draws them in and shows how important it is to be true to yourself.

The award is a wonderful tribute to the film and to all those who made it possible with their creativity, dedication and passion.

We at Lieblingsfilm are delighted to receive this special recognition and would like to congratulate the entire team behind “Pferd am Stiel” wholeheartedly on this wonderful success, and thank the jury for this marvellous award!
