German theatrical release of KANNAWONIWASEIN! (What The Finn!?)

KANNAWONIWASEIN (What the Finn?!) is in cinemas from today!
Praised by film critics as “the most beautiful children’s film in a long time” (Perlentaucher.de) and as “finally a really cool children’s film again” (Filmstarts).

Director Stefan Westerwelle shows a road movie of two children who simply want to experience freedom. The two newcomers Miran Selcuk as Finn and Lotte Engels as Jola take the audience on a journey by tractor to the Baltic Sea after Finn is dropped off at the station by his father Volkan – played by German Rap-Artist Eko Fresh. Along the way they meet partly bizarre adults such as Joachim Foerster as small-time crook Heiko, Mirja Boes as a conductor, the two policemen Gisa Flake and Heiko Pinkowski, Ades Zabel as a sex shop owner, Anna Mateur as a snack bar vendor, Anna Bergman and Mathias Harrebye-Brandt as a Danish nudist couple, Tristan Göbel as a petrol station attendant, KiKA presenter Tim Gailus as Prussian King Frederick the Great and finally on Leslie Malton as a rocker president with Felix von Manteuffel as Grandpa Heinz. Whether the journey goes well and what challenges Finn and Jola have to face, you can see in the cinema from today!

Sad Origami and Lieblingsfilm wish you a lot of fun watching the film.
