EXTRAWURST honoured at the FddF

We are delighted: the screenplay for our film EXTRAWURST was awarded the Film Art Prize – Best Screenplay 2026 at the 22nd German Film Festival. The jury thus recognised the work of Moritz Netenjakob and Dietmar Jacobs, who, with great wit and keen observation, have created an entertaining and incisive exploration of current social debates.
EXTRAWURST is based on the authors’ successful play of the same name and tells the story of a tennis club meeting that escalates into a debate about integration and social cohesion, all sparked by the question of whether to buy a second barbecue.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to Moritz Netenjakob and Dietmar Jacobs on this well-deserved award – and a huge thank you to the entire team and the festival jury.
