The Holy Grill wins CIVIS CINEMA AWARD 2026

Extrawurst has won the CIVIS CINEMA AWARD 2026 – the audience prize of the European CIVIS Media Prize for Integration and Cultural Diversity. The award was presented on 18 May 2026 at the re:publica in Berlin.

The CIVIS Media Prize is considered Europe’s most prestigious media prize for integration and cultural diversity and is held under the patronage of the European Parliament. This year’s competition featured over 800 entries from 26 EU member states and Switzerland.

The CIVIS CINEMA AWARD audience prize is decided by public vote – making it a particularly meaningful recognition that comes directly from cinema audiences.
