DEAR MR. FÜHRER FREE TV-PREMIERE

Tomorrow, Friday September 6th, Christian Lerch’s DEAR MR. FÜHRER can be seen on free TV for the first time! DEAR MR. FÜHRER tells a story of incredible depth and social relevance, anchored in a historical context. Up-and-coming talent Xari Wimbauer (UNHEIMLICH PERFEKTE FREUNDE) takes on the role of eleven-year-old Felix.

DEAR MR. FÜHRER is set in 1945, shortly before the end of the WWII. Young Felix has fled Munich with his mother, seeking shelter in their home village in Lower Bavaria. Felix is determined not to be an outsider. Blinded by the Nazi propaganda of his neighbour Feik (Philipp Hochmair), he finds a mysterious retreat: a magical ‘glass room’. Amidst the horrifying injustices of war, he must learn that family and friendship are more important than any ideology.
